Senior Project Manager
Job Scope:
The project manager will be responsible that allocated projects are planned and completed successfully within the scope, deadline, quality and the given budget.
Specifically he or she will be responsible to successfully manage a large customer project (approx. 6500 MD in 33 months), which is of high strategic importance to the company.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- lead the planning and implementation of projects
- facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- define project tasks and resource requirements
- develop full scale project plans
- assemble and coordinate project staff
- manage project budget
- manage project resource allocation
- manage project risks and contingencies
- plan and schedule project timelines
- track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- provide direction and support to project team
- quality assurance
- constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- project evaluations and assessment of results

Experience:
- Proven experience in managing and analyzing large complex projects (large in both budget and man days).

- Have a strong working knowledge of scheduling tools, including Microsoft® Project
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written); French, German and Luxembourgish are welcome.
- Experience in (Air) Transport industry would be considered an asset.
- Experience in working with offshore software development and setting up quality plans and criteria.
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited university is required with a technology-based degree (e.g.: engineering or computer science) preferred.
