SAP Basis System Administrator

Profile:

- The candidate should meet the following pre-requisites:

- Minimum of 2 year of experience in SAP Netweaver administration & implementation.

- Ability to configure SAP WAS ABAP and Java

- Advanced administration skills in User Administration

- Portal & SAP Solution Manager knowledge.

- Good ABAP skills are an asset.

- Good know-how of SAP interfacing technologies (RFC, ALE, IDOC, BAPI,…).

- Knowledge of PI (Process Integration Engine) as well as administration skills of SAP/Oracle databases is considered as an asset.

- Analytical mind, solution oriented and customer focus.

- Solution oriented, result oriented and delivery driven person.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good individual & team player.

- Strong learning capability.

- Fluent in English (spoken & written) is mandatory.

 

Function:

- Ensure cost-effective design and implementation of SAP systems in support business objectives and requirements.

- Install and maintain software including upgrades, applying kernel patches, OSS Notes, and Support Packages.

- Troubleshooting, error analysis, problem solving, capacity planning, performance tuning and application server load balancing, as well as day-to-day monitoring through CCMS and administration of SAP systems.

- Spool and Printer management

- Working with the SAP team to design appropriate role-based security for the development, QA, and production environment including role definition and job/position mapping.

- Develop an ongoing upgrade and enhancement strategy for application of upgrades, support packages and OSS notes.

- Solve highly technical and complex problems across the SAP landscape as it relates to security authorizations.

- Perform security reviews of the SAP systems and participate in audit and compliance activities.

- Manage transport requests by using TMS and NWDI.

- Collaborating with the technical teams to further develop the SAP landscape architecture.

- Ensure 2nd level support pertaining to system accessibility.

- Contribute to the SAP Certified Customer Competency Centre’s effectiveness.
