Java Programmer (M/F)

Job Scope :

The candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team composed of internal and external staff. He/she will design, develop and support web browser components for our core worldwide critical air-cargo management applications, used by Cargolux and several other Airlines. He/she will implement software solutions according to the internal framework and design used by the team.

Tasks :
- Code high quality software to the standards in place within the organisation.
- Provide high quality documentation for all development work undertaken.
- Design and Develops application program solutions which may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
- Respond to queries from peers, review technical designs and resolve design issues.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
- Independently analyse, design, code, test, implement and maintain complex software solutions.
- Provide production support for new systems.

Profile :

The candidate should meet the following pre-requisites:
- Experience in developing client-server web applications. 
- Experience in object oriented development with Java, Servlet, JSP, HTML, XML, XSL and JavaScript of minimum 2 years. General web service, hibernate, spring experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of an IDE tool, Tomcat and one application server is required. Eclipse, JBoss, J2EE and Struts framework can be decisive.
- Working experience in designing application with UML tool.
- Experience in entity/relationship modelling targeted to Oracle DBMS. Ability to build SQL statements with joins is required.
- Experience in working within XP/ UNIX environment. 
- Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
