CHAMP Cargosystems consolidated its position as the market leader in cargo automation

London – CHAMP Cargosystems consolidated its position as the market leader in cargo automation with its customer base of 60 including many of the top 100 cargo carrying airlines. Among the five new customers gained in 2006 was Adria, Ocean Airlines as well as LTU who where successfully cutover onto the eCHAMP platform. Saudi Arabian Airlines, CHAMP's 3rd largest hosted customer, extended their CHAMP contract for 5 years and added CRA manager.

CHAMP reached an agreement early in the year with GF-X, the world’s leading provider of air cargo distribution/e-booking on offering a turnkey GF-X solution to CHAMP customers. Companies already using CHAMP’s cargo automation solutions will be able to extend their sales seamlessly through this agreement. In mid-year, Cargolux became the first of several airlines to utlilize the CHAMP Cargosystems Global Customers Gateway to generate electronic pre-arrival reports of cargo loaded on Canada-bound flights as this became obligatory in July.
