Inside Sales Support and Admin

Responsibilities
- You will be the first responder to all inbound sales leads either through our website, email or chat services:
- Provide written acknowledgement within agreed timeframe.
- Arrange for initial contact via Teams and seek to gain valuable insights from the prospect through the first contact conversation and use of the questionnaire.
- Performing business checks on incoming leads to ensure their viability.
- Create the opportunity within CRM and document all steps and information prior to hand over to Sales.
- Some enquiries will be for simpler out of the box services, for such services you will be able to send our standard pricing and information direct to the prospect or customer. This will require opportunity to be created and CRM updated accordingly.
- For out-of-the-box services, provide the standard contract or amendment to the prospective customer reflecting the standard or agreed pricing. Follow-up with prospective customer until contract is signed.
- Proactively, research and seek out new business opportunities in the market.
- Leading or coordinating internal sales initiatives and campaigns including being responsible for the follow up for on any marketing campaign or future webinar within the agreed timeline.
- General support for the sales team, including but not limited to updating CRM and other sales and financial systems, generating sales collateral and templates, and assisting in customer events.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the market and making the first contact with the aim of qualifying these suspect opportunities.
- Seeking and recommending sales process improvements
- Learn and stay current with process to provide cover for Change Control function, during holiday / unplanned time off.
Admin
- Update our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) as required, such as: Qualifying, creating opportunities, updating assisting to make sure all opportunities are correctly updated regardless of owner. Producing and reporting performance / status and quality reports as required
- Administrator for our Sales Enablement tool. Supported by Marketing.
- General admin support to the VP Sales as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Confident, upbeat and strong communicator who is naturally persuasive and inquisitive.
- A broad understanding of the Air Cargo industry, is essential to this role to establish credibility with prospects or clients during the initial engagement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be very useful but not essential.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PPT and in particular Excel
- Work well under pressure, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree Graduate
- Minimum 1 year of experience working within the Air Cargo Transport Industry, either with Cargo Ground Handling, Airline – Cargo Division, Freight Forwarder or GSA- Cargo.
- Must have a high standard of written and spoken English
