Carrier will migrate to the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to gain latest technologies and streamline operations
Luxembourg, 3 August 2021 – Estafeta Carga Aérea has renewed for CHAMP’s Cargospot Airline and will migrate to a SaaS model of the cargo management application. The carrier has been using the core cargo solution as a licensed customer for over 16 years and will continue to rely on the solution for years to come. Furthermore, as a hosted customer, Estafeta Carga Aérea will benefit from the latest technologies and features built into Cargospot. The carrier will now be able to leverage the latest Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and other powerful new features and services that are only available as part of the CHAMP IT Eco-system.
Cargospot Airline is airfreight’s most widely used and comprehensive cargo management system, providing carriers with complete end-to-end control over the sale, operations, and management of cargo. The SaaS model is serviced through CHAMP’s state-of-the-art data center using industry-leading technologies, which offer enhanced security and optimum connection speeds. By migrating to a fully managed SaaS offering, Estafeta Carga Aérea will make cost and resource savings by no longer managing its cargo management application’s IT security and maintenance in-house – it will be able to better focus on its core business rather than its IT solutions.
“With SaaS, we know we will have the very best,” says Diana Nájera, Director of International Servicies at Estafeta Carga Aérea. “Cargospot has been the backbone of our operations for many years – we are thrilled to continue this relationship and further evolve our digital business strategy together with CHAMP in the years to come.”
“Better service, better technologies, better opportunities” says Nicholas Xenocostas, Vice President Commercial & Customer Engagement at CHAMP Cargosystems. “By providing our services through a SaaS model, we can better serve our customers’ needs, and efficiently rollout our latest features. We are happy to evolve our relationship with Estafeta and support their future growth.”
